AKERMAN, Louis (Leiwe). Peacefully and with dignity, in his ninety-seventh year, on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Sabina (Judenberg) and the late Helen (Chaja) Zilberberg. Devoted father and father-in-law of Charles and Birdie, and the late Evelyn. Loving grandfather of Monty (Shawna) and Jason (Angelina). Adoring great grandfather of Ethan, Emily, Jonah and Erica. Predeceased by his parents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Very special thank you to the staff of Lev Tov for their loving care of this gentle man. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, October 8 at 12 p.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Cemetery, de la Savane.
