MAUER, Jenny (nee Schafer). Peacefully, on Thursday, December 7, 2006, in her one-hundredth year. Predeceased by her husband Albert. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Cecile, Billy and Lillian. Devoted grandmother of Gary and Benita Katz, Marla and Pat, Heidi and Chuck Tritt; Liza and Andrew Sheiner, Jacquie and Brian Leven. Proud great-grandmother of twelve. Dear sister of Esther Goldstein. Predeceased by her other brothers and sisters, Billy, Moe, Arthur, Fanny, Sadie, Molly and Nettie. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of 4th floor Tower 2 at the Waldorf Residence.
