WINSTAN, Irving (Ike). Peacefully, on Friday, February 3, 2006, in his ninety-second year. Beloved husband of Rose Herman for sixty-four years. Most loved father and father-in-law of Arlene and Paul Scheffer, Jules Winstan and Peggy Winstan. Cherished Zaida of Howard and Jon Scheffer, Lucas and Alex Winstan. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Ethel and Abe Silver, Sophie and the late Moe Winstan, the late Shoshana Winstan, the late Lillian Winstan. Brother-in-law of Moe and Yolande Herman, Hy (Blackie) and Sophie Herman, Zena and the late Ben Herman, the late Bernice and the late Marcel Blais. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Earl Edelstein and the staff of the 4th floor at the Kastner Pavilion for their care and devotion.
