HERMAN, Sophie (nee Tenovitch) Peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the age of ninety-one. Beloved wife of Hymie (Blackie) Herman for seventy-two years. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, brother, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was a true spark in the flame of everyone who knew her. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary's and Mount Sinai Hospitals for their exceptional care and compassion in her final months. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
