WAXMAN, Bernard (Ben) Peacefully, with great courage and dignity, on Monday, July 15, 2013, at the age of ninety-three. Beloved and devoted husband of Edie Kaufman for sixty-seven years. Loving father and father-in-law of Jeffrey and Bernice Waxman, Susan and Neil Alper. Cherished Zaida of Justin and Julia Waxman; Lorne and Jessica Alper, and Elyssa Alper. Proud and adored 'great-Zaida' of Logan Alper. Predeceased by his sister, Sally Rotner (Sam Rotner). Benny will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his beautiful singing voice, amazing sense of humour, and his absolute joy for life. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 17 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
