On Sunday, November 4, 2001. Beloved husband of Viorica (Ibu). Dear brother of Ella Schmidt (Sweden), the late Rosa Ruttner, and predeceased by siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Special brother-in-law of Charlotte (Shari) Berger. Loving uncle of Vivian Gershman, Rose Lagercrantz, and Dr. Alain Janaud. He will be greatly missed by his great-nieces and nephews, and his many dear friends. Special thanks to Edna, the doctors, nurses and staff of the 4th floor at the Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
