Obituary WOCHYNIAK, Mendel. Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, on Thursday, April 12, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Ester Kayla. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Gerti and Juda Silbiger, and Helen Wochyniak Harloquin. Cherished Zaidy of Moishe and Jacqui, Howie, and Peri. Doting Great-Zaidy of Liela Kayla. Survived by his sister-in-law Udle Mermelstein, nephew Abe and his two sons. Predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Harry and Rachel, niece Elaine, his brother-in-law Emil Mermelstein, nephew Shmuel, and his parents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Mendel will be lovingly remembered by Fruma Eliasewitz and all his friends.
