POREZ, Helen (Ilonka) (nee Jakubovic) Peacefully, on Saturday, January 14, 2012, in her ninety-first year. Wife of the late Dr. Ladislav Porez. Dear sister-in-law of Lily Jakubovic. Sister of the late Ben, the late Chaim and the late Leib Jakubovic. Predeceased by her parents and three siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Loving aunt of Betty and Barry Abugov, Mark and Fran Jakubovic. Cherished great-aunt of Josh Abugov; Richard Jakubovic and Judith Benayoun, Lindsey Jakubovic and Aaron Backler, and great-great-aunt of Emily Jakubovic; and Liam Backler. Helen will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
