LAZARUS, Gertie (nee Gesser). Unexpectedly but peacefully, on Thursday, June 19, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Eleazar Joseph Lazarus. Loving and devoted mother of Ber, Rivka and Baila. Cherished Bubby of Josephine. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Hymie and Esther Gesser, the late Sarah and the late Sam Ponak. Sister-in-law of Ruth and the late Charles Lazarus, Milca and the late Aryeh Ellner, and the late Felix Lazarus. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, June 22 at 11:45 a.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her residence.
