COEN, Ida (nee Land). Peacefully, on Sunday, April 17, 2005, in her one hundred and first year. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Mother and mother-in-law of Elaine and Abe Kaufman, Irving, and the late Helen and the late Irving Starr. Grandmother of Sharon and Richard Shrier, Staci and Warren Yane, Andrea and Stephen Belfer, and the late Elliot Kaufman. Great-grandmother of Jordan and Hayley Shrier; Daniel and Lauren Kaufman; Evan and Harley Belfer. Survived by sisters Stella Gordon (the late Jacob), and Sarah Riff (the late Jack). Predeceased by her siblings Celia Begun (the late Morris), Margaret, Dr. David Land (the late Sophie), Dr. Jack Land (the late Ann), Dora Dubow (the late Bernard), and Abram. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 South at Maimonides for their special care and devotion. Graveside service at Congregation Shevat Achim Cemetery, de la Savane, on Wednesday, April 20 at 2 p.m. Shiva private. Due to the advent of Passover, Shiva ends Friday afternoon.
