GOLDSTEIN, Esther (nee Schafer) On Monday, September 20, 2010, in her ninety-fifth year. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Dr. William and Mera of Ottawa, Dr. Sandor and Debbie of Wisconsin. Adored "Grandma E" of Leslie and Brian, Jason and Amy, Jonathan, Jeremy, and Gillian. Proud great-grandmother of Ian, Margo, and Bailey. Predeceased by her siblings. Special thanks to her caregivers for maintaining her dignity over the past two years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, September 22 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 6600 Cote-de-Liesse. Due to the festival of Succot, shiva ends Wednesday at 5 p.m., September 22.
