ROSENBERG, Jake (Jack) With dignity and courage on Friday, November 29, 2013. Beloved husband, soul mate and best friend of Kiki (Sylvia) Shear for sixty-seven years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Eddy and Lynda Rosenberg, Eileen and Issie Burbela, Rosalee and Pat O'Brien. Cherished Zaidie of Michael and Alison, Jason, Heidi, Daniel, Marni, Rob and Juliette, and Brian. Proud great-grandfather of Alec, Sophie, and Kayla. Loving brother and best friend of Joe Rosenberg. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Molly and Mike Medjuck, Libby and Abie (Boomie) Lerner, Burt Rosenberg, Abie and Fay Rosenberg. Brother-in-law of Lil and the late Morris Shear, the late Bill and the late Ruth Shear. Uncle Jake will be sadly mourned by his many nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by his family, many special friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Special thanks to Veterans Canada, CLSC Cote-des-Neiges, the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital, and his devoted caregivers. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
