EDELSTEIN, Max With courage and dignity, on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Beloved husband of Minnie Beimil. Loving father and father-in-law of Audrey and Ronnie Tepper, Sondra Sherman, Illeana and Bruce Yoffe, Irwin and Audrey. Treasured 'Papa' of Cory and Emily, Addie and Minor, Matthew and Alekxandra, Jesse, Andrew, Ryan and Brittney, Evan, Arianna, Jordan, and Maya. Proud great-grandfather of Dylan, Marlee, Lennon, Isaiah, Joel, Errol, Basil, and Ledger. Brother of Evelyn, and the late Moe, and brother-in-law of Abie and Peggy Baimel, Ida and Saul Raizer, Trudy and Shimy Feinstein, Bella and the late Richard Winters. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Max's extraordinary caregivers, Joe, Evelyn, Maria, Myrna, Adele, Lily and Joy, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff of K2 at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, July 4 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6950 ch. de la Cote-Saint-Luc #1110, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Wednesday evening.
