LEVENSON, Sylvia (nee Wechselblatt) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sylvia on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Loving wife of the late Myer. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Harvey and Alta Levenson, Naomi and Harvey Wieskopf, Barry and Jill Levenson. Cherished Bubbie of Marnie Wieskopf and Marc Welikovitch, Trevor Wieskopf and Randee Fisher, Lainie Wieskopf and Michael Finkelstein, David Levenson and Severine Biderman, Joshua and Brittany Levenson. Great Bubbie of Lindsay, Taryn, Samantha, Lucas, Emilie and Noa. Predeceased by her parents, Malka and Chaim, and her siblings and their spouses, Max and Eva, Morris and Beatrice, Annie and Issie, Sally and Milton, Yette and Lou, and Shirley and Moe. Sister-in-law of the late Morris and the late Louise, Shirley and the late Phil, Diane and the late Jack, and the late Saul and the late Rosalind Levenson. Shifra will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Sis, Geraldine, Russell and Sweeney. A very special thank you to Dr. Neil Trister, Dr. Golda Tradounsky and Dr. Reuben Becker, to nurse Marie and the exceptional 3rd floor staff of Palliative Care at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 29 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private.
