LEVENSON, Saul. Peacefully, in his eighty-sixth year, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, January 6, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Rosalind Goldberg. Loving father and father-in-law of Marlene Levenson-Houvardas and Steve Houvardas, Bob and Kim Levenson. Devoted and adored grandfather of Romi and Jeff Howard, Daniel and Jonathan Levenson. Cherished great grandfather of Ella and Kate Howard. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Morris and the late Louise, Sylvia and the late Myer, Shirley and the late Phil, Diane and the late Jack Levenson. Brother-in-law of the late Sam and the late Reva Forman, Dorothy and the late Jack Miller, and Phyllis Goldberg. Sadly mourned by his companion Joyce Rosen. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and many wonderful friends. Heartfelt gratitude to his long-time caregiver Nieves Alveris and to Dr. Neil Trister who spent precious time by his side. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, January 9 at 12 noon. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5500 Macdonald #1707.
