BENNETT (BERNETSKY), Florence (nee Steinberg) On Sunday, February 8, 2009 in her ninety-second year with her loving family by her side. Our beloved mother peacefully passed away at Baycrest. Loving wife of the late John. Cherised mother and mother-in-law of Reggie and Sidney Greenberg of Toronto, Sylvia and Burt Spector. Loving grandmother of Aubie, Ann and Michael, Richard, Bruce and Edith, Aideen and Joel, Greg and Miriam. Proud great-grandmother of Melissa, Jakob, Matt, Amanda, Allie, Madison and Bari, Jonah and Gabriella. Dear sister of Esther and the late Saul Kivenko. Predeceased by Annie and Nathan Steinberg, Moe and Ruth Steinberg, Ida and Issie Adelson, and Sybil Dermer. Dear sister-in-law of Oscar and the late Ethel Bennett, Gertie and the late Lou Cohen, the late Gertie and the late Ben Bernetsky, the late Anne and the late Paul Werthenstein, the late Belle and the late Sid Cohen. We would like to thank Dr. H. Parma, the nurses and staff of the 7th floor Baycrest, and her special care givers Vikki, Miriam and Marlene for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Wednesday, February 11 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Sick Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 3555 Cote-des-Neiges until Thursday morning. Continuing in Toronto at 22 St. Thomas St. # 9-B.
