STEIN, Sylvia (nee Shapiro) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Josef. Cherished and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Steven Stein and Arlene Ades. Adored Bubby and best friend to her grandchildren, Jesse and Mathew. Devoted daughter of the late Morris and the late Minnie Shapiro. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Irving and Beverly Shapiro, Gertrude and the late Hymie Shapiro, the late Mamie and the late Melvin Schacter. Sylvia will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends whom she touched so deeply. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, April 27 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private.
