KAPLAN, David Surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the age of ninety. Beloved and devoted husband of Ruth Balinsky for fifty-four years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Andra and Marc Rubin, Lois and Jeff Kohos. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Sam and the late Muriel Kaplan, the late Clara and the late Harry Freedman. Dear brother-in-law of Miriam and the late Saul Cohen. Adored "Papa" of Rebecca and Emily Rubin; Lauren, Malorie, and Robbie Kohos. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Ste.-Anne's Veterans Hospital, for their exceptional care and compassion.
