JACOBSON, Mickey (Sam)
Peacefully, in his ninety-third year, on Sunday, May 5, 2013. Beloved husband of Sara Vachotensky for sixty-eight years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Carol and Harvey, Jerry and Ronni, Cheryl and Sheldon. Much cherished Zaida of Allison, Heather, Jonah, Matthew, Gabriel, Rebecca and Garren, Jessica and Rob. Proud great-grandfather of Casey, Jonah, Jackson and Duncan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ben and the late Sally Jacobson, and predeceased by his other siblings, Jack, Fay, Esther, Charlie, and Hy. Mickey and his smile will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 7 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Cheryl's home, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
