| Obituary | TRACHTENBERG-MECHANIC, Bernice. On Thursday, October 2, 2003. Beloved wife of Hy Trachtenberg and the late Jack Mechanic. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Elliot and Mireille, Michael and Suzi. Cherished grandmother of Lisa, Joanna, Stephanie and Julie; Leslie and Jonathan. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Hy and Gail Rissman, the late Minnie Press-Burger and sister-in-law of Ida Millman, Mary and Leonard Cordes, Ann Parnass, Pauline Mechanik. Sadly mourned by Linda and Earl Cohen, John and Jane Trachtenberg, Elaine and Earl Povitz and their families and by her nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West on Sunday, October 5 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth David Section, De la Savane.
