CORBER, Mary (née Watkin) Peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Loving wife of the late Israel. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Barry, Arthur, Carole and Mark Grossman. Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Robyn), Jonathan (Tiffani), Michael Grossman, and Isaac Corber. Proud great-grandmother of Ezra, Asher, Levi, Aliza, and Mia Grossman. Predeceased by her beloved siblings and their spouses Saul and Goldie Watkin, Rose and Jack Solomon. Mary will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, who regarded her as a true matriarch. Special thanks to Marisa, as well as Mary's other caregivers and the nursing staff of The Waldorf Residence for their exceptional care, kindness and loving devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, September 15 at 12:00 noon. Burial at Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth David Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 5900 Cavendish Blvd., (Reception Room), on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. We celebrate Mary's life: her selfless concern for others' well-being was reciprocated by all who knew her. |
