LEITER, Jack S. On Monday, January 5, 2009. Beloved and loving husband of Mildred Israelovitch for sixty-five years. Son of the late Marcus and the late Rachel Leiter. Devoted father and father-in-law of Marc and Elaine, Lawrence and Karen. Adored Zaidie of Karen, Richard, David, and Melissa; and of Kimberly and Avery Haviv. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Sarah and the late Hyman Scoler, Estelle and the late Saul (Ellis) Leiter. Brother-in-law of Abe and Phyllis Israel. Jack will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the exemplary care provided by Dr. Jacques Genest and Dr. Walter Bloom. Funeral service from Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem, 6519 Baily Rd., Cote St. Luc, on Tuesday, January 6 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth David Section, de la Savane.
