MARCOVITCH, Zelda (nee Pinsky). On Monday, July 14, 2003 in her one-hundred-and-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Rubin. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Edythe and Richard Herson of New Jersey, Sylvia of Montreal, and Arthur of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Sharon and Daniel Fleckles, Jonathan and Joanne Herson, Caryn and Roger Jay, Claudia and the late Glen Shacter-Dechabert, Janet and Harvey Glower, Bonnie and Steven Holtzman, Jamie Marcovitch. Proud great-grandmother of Michael, Jacob, and Ariel. Predeceased by her brothers Reuben, Morris and Louis, and sisters Leah and Rema. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Tifereth Jerusalem Cemetery, De la Savane. Shiva private. The family would like to thank the staff of 8 NW at the Jewish General Hospital, and the staff of the 2nd floor at the Jewish Eldercare Centre. A special thank you to Betty, Alice and Lola for being compassionate and loving caregivers.
