LEVINE, Ida (nee Hoffman)
On Thursday, August 23, 2012. Beloved wife of Mike for sixty-eight years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sheldon (Shelly) and Donna Levine, Fay and Martin Greenberg, and Bella and Irving Fox of Toronto. Cherished Bubbie of Ilana, Carly and Ian, Jeremy and Erin, Ryan, and Andrew. Proud great-grandmother of Sydnie, and Madison. Predeceased by her sisters and their spouses; Katie Hoffman, Minnie and Jerry Kirshenblatt. Sister-in-law of Alice and the late Charlie Berger, Jennie and the late Sonny Lesser, the late Annie and the late Harry Rubinger, the late Louis and the late Lillian Levine, the late Miriam and the late Syd Wexler, and the late Betty and the late Harry Goldberg. Ida will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. David Langleben, the nurses, and staff of the 2nd floor at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane.
