MARON-LITVACK, Joyce (nee Postner). After a courageous battle, on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Wife of the late Abe Litvack and the late Sam Maron. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Irwin and Patti Litvack, Rosalind and David Shaanan, Michael and Joanne Litvack, Trudy and Claude Sassoon, Danny and Suzi Maron. Dear sister of Dr. Harry Postner. Special sister-in-law of Anne Kirstein. Cherished Bubby of Aaron and Stewart Litvack; Ari and Jonathan Shaanan; Adam and Jamie Litvack; Lila Sassoon; Gregory and Chad Maron. Joyce will be forever remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Units at the Jewish General Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. The family sincerely appreciates the extraordinary devotion shown by her caregivers.
