BASSEL, Leo. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, June 13, 2005, in his eighty-seventh year. Dear husband of the late beloved Merle Edyth (Nee Browns). Cherished father and father-in-law of Mark Bassel and Abby Kleinberg-Bassel, Alan and Andrea Bassel, Howard and Fonda Bassel. Grandfather of Michael, Marielle, Shauna and Chelsea. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Sam and the late Hilda Bassel, the late Lillian Kline, the late Peter and the late Ann Bassel, the late Florence and the late Morris Miller. He will be missed by his many relatives and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, June 17 at 1:00 P.M. Burial at Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva private.
