BESNER, Lily (nee Dubrofsky). Peacefully at home, after a courageous battle on Sunday, January 5, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Morty. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Myra and Sam Frishman, Sheldon and Janice, Franceen and Harvey Goffman. Cherished Bubby of Marissa and Richard Frishman, Phillip and Ilanna Besner, Belinda and Benji Goffman. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Hymie and Sylvia Dubrofsky, Reuben and Frances Dubrofsky, Sadie and the late Saul Sugar, Ruth and the late Willie Dubrofsky. Sadly mourned by her nieces and nephews. Very special thanks to Dr. Manny Borod for his support, compassion, and personal attention. Deepest gratitude to Judith and Dr. Kalin of Mount Sinai Hospital, Heloise and Francine of V.O.N. and Donna from C.L.S.C. Rene Cassin. Sincere thanks to her caregivers Leoni, Nora and Richard, whose support was invaluable.
