Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in her ninety-fourth year. Deeply beloved wife of the late Bill for seventy-three beautiful years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Stanley and Celia, Lily and Allan, Irene and Louis. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Ilana and Yehuda, Daniel and Devora, Sarah and Zev, Meira, Hadara, and Theo. Adored great-grandmother of Chaim, Shira, Eliyahu, Ari, and Tehila; Yisrael Meir, Tzvi, Vivi, Zev, Chaim Aaron, and Dovid; Orly and Ayal. Special thanks to Jill Tom and the Home Service Palliative Care Team of Mount Sinai Hospital, to Susan Leahy, and the team of the Montreal Heart Institute; as well as to Julie’s incredible caregivers – “Julie’s Angels” – especially Katrina, Joy, Cherry, and Roxanne, for their exceptional care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane.
