Obituary WAJCER, Fajga (nee Burman) Surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Cherished daughter of the late Mordechai and the late Chava. Most beloved wife of the late Moishe. Treasured mother of Simon, Evelyn and Lawrence (Vatch), Anne and Rick (Rubin), Holden and Nathalie (Lessard), and Debbie Sharif. Exceptional Bubbie of Lisa and Jonathan, Mitchell and Melissa, Michael, Jessica, Zoe, Justin, and Omar. Proud great-grandmother of Alexander, Oliver, and Ariella. Predeceased by her dear siblings, Chaim, Shloime, Moishe, Channah, and her beloved niece, Felunia who all perished in the Holocaust. Heartfelt thanks to Marizza, Drs. Becker, Langleben, Shamy, and Schweitzer, and to the staff of the Jewish General and Mount Sinai Hospitals for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, April 29 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 6500 Mackle Rd., C.S.L, after 1 p.m. daily. Fajga was a hero and a witness, who survived the Warsaw Ghetto, Majdanek, Auschwitz, Birkenau and the Death March. Lovingly known as "The Ma" to all.
