SMOLKIN, Mickey S. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Devoted son of the late Ray and the late Charles Smolkin. Most beloved husband of the late Ruth Smolkin. Cherished father and father-in-law of Lynn and Aubrey Kauffman, Saralee Smolkin. Special brother and brother-in-law of Gilda and Sonny Rubin, George and Arlene Smolkin, Janet and the late Gerry Wise, Angie and the late Sam Litman. Adored zaideh of Stephanie and Noah Plener, Rebecca and Ryan Kornblum, Noah Kauffman and Zachary Kauffman. Proud great zaideh of Madeleine Ruth Plener; Jack Henry Kornblum. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Kathy Hooper for her outstanding care over the past ten years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W on Monday, April 12 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, de la savane.
