GAL, Ilona (nee Eilender). In Ottawa on Friday, August 10, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Sandor. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Leslie and Rhonda, George and Hanna, Miriam and Charles Taub. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan and Natalie Gal, Shoshi and Aron Portnoy, Tamara and Gavriel Friedman, Daniel Gal; Eytan, Karen, Oren and Benny Gal; Avi Schwartz, Esther and Ari Katz; Avi Noam Taub, Michael Taub and Anna Taub. Great grandmother of Nava and Shira. Dear sister of Freda Miller, the late Fishel Eilender and predeceased by her other siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Sister-in-law of Louis and the late Magda Gal, Stefi and the late Frank Gal.
