TANZER, Issie
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Issie, on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the age of eighty-four. Beloved husband of Doreen Spector and the late Gilda Rosenfeld. Cherished father and father-in-law of Harvey and Cheryl, Michael and Dawn, and Arthur. Proud and loving Papa and Zaidie of Dylan, Kyle, Gillian, Greer, Jonas, and Jessica. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Harry and Ettie Tanzer, Pearl and Eddie Torontow. Dearest brother-in-law of Larry and Norma Rosenfeld, the late Allan and the late Yetta Rosenfeld, Bernie and Ida Spector. Issie will be sadly missed and forever remembered by Lori Caplan and Phil Rimer, Ashley, Michael, and Andrew Leutner, his many dear friends, and by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, September 4, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, 5950 Cavendish Blvd., #1004, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
