DENBURG, Miriam (nee Ben-Ezra)
Peacefully, just after her 93rd birthday, on March 25, 2016 at Shalom Village in Hamilton, Ontario. Wife and rebbezin of the late Rabbi Chaim Noach Denburg of Montreal, teacher, singer, passionate advocate for Israel, steeped in Hebrew and biblical knowledge. Miriam is survived by her sons, Judah and Moshe, daughter-in-law Susan, grandsons, Avi and Elisha, granddaughters-in-law, Liane and Erica, and great-grandsons, Leo, Jacob and Joshua. Her songs will span generations. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, March 27 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane. |
