Obituary LABOW, Cecil Alexander On Tuesday, July 13, 2010 (Av 3, 5770), after a brief illness fought with courage and dignity, with his children and grandchildren by his side. Most beloved husband of Reva Amdursky for over sixty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Martin and Elaine, Leah and Alex, Malka and Michael. Respected, loved and treasured Zaidie to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Devorah and Haim (Ariella, Mikayla, Naomi and Gabriella), Tamar; Jacob and Randi, Charles, Donna (Zachary and Matthew) and Brian; Jonathan and Hillary. Predeceased by his brothers. Survived by his brother - and sisters-in-law, Abe and Reay Amdursky, Faye Amdursky, and Pearl Labow. A respected member of the Montreal and Jewish Communities, his labour of love was helping those less fortunate. We sincerely appreciate the genuine and compassionate professionals of the Palliative Care Unit at the Montreal General Hospital, with special thanks to Drs. Manuel Borod, Stephanie Gingras, Tom Hutchinson and Krista Lawlor, whose frequent visits were much appreciated by our entire family. Our heartfelt thanks go to the exceptional nurses and wonderful P.A.B.'s who cared for our dad unconditionally, and treated him with the greatest kindness and respect. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 15 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane.
