SPERLING, Barbara Joy (nee Tolensky) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Beloved wife and best friend of Steven. Devoted daughter of Fanny and the late Harry Tolensky. Precious daughter-in-law of Mac and the late Molly Sperling. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Bob and Lillian Tolensky, Arlene and Ken Cristall of Vancouver, and David Tolensky. Dear aunt of Aaron and Ben, Marni, Danny, and Michael. Special thanks to Dr. Gotlieb, Nancy Drummond, and Marie France for their kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 25 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., though Tuesday, August 27.
