COHEN, Betty (nee Barnett) Just shy of her ninety-first birthday, surrounded by her family, on Monday, November 27, 2017. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Charles. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Alice, Lawrence and Sheila. Loving and caring Bubbie of Jeremy and Kristina, David, Ryan and Tami, Robert and Jennifer. Adoring great-Bubbie of Eliza, Jasmine, Charlie and Cooper. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Sydney and Miriam Barnett (the late Lillette), the late Anne and the late Moe Torontour; and sister-in-law of Irving and Reva Cohen, Sylvia and the late Willie Cohen, Reeva and the late Frank Richstone, Anne and Hymie London (the late Larry Shapiro), the late Ray and the late Issie May. Betty will be missed by all her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to her devoted and wonderful caregivers, Rizza, Judy, Rose, Carol and Gerasil. We would like to acknowledge the exceptional and compassionate care given by Dr. Golda Tradounsky and all the nurses and staff of the 3rd floor at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 28 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
