KUGELMASS, Gertrude (Trudy) (nee Shapiro) Peacefully, and with dignity, on Sunday, January 17, 2016, in her ninety-ninth year. Beloved wife of the late Sam Kugelmass. Treasured mother of Leanna Kugelmass Starke, Gerald Kugelmass (Caroline). Cherished Bubbie (Bubs) of Stephen Starke, Heidi Starke-Giannoulis (Paul Giannoulis), Samantha Kugelmass (Lewis Fairgrieve-Park), Julia Kugelmass (Adrian Roefs). Proud great-grandmother of Alexander, Renee, Sara, Gabriel, Audrey, and Josephine. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Dr. Simon Shapiro (Rose), Max Shapiro (Freda), Israel Shapiro, Florence Bloom (Morris Tietolman, Harold Bloom). She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
