GUTTMAN, Sarah (nee Horowitz) Peacefully, in her one hundred and first year, on Sunday, June 28, 2009. Dearly beloved wife of the late Sol. Devoted mother of Arthur Guttman and Patsy Rudner. Mother-in-law of Glenda Guttman, Allan Perlman, and the late Eddie Rudner. Cherished grandmother of Ralph, Ardeth, Cheryl and Jeff, Marla, Stuart and Nathalie, Howie and Ilana. Adored great-grandmother of Jennifer, Kevin, Matthew, Morgan, Maelle, Michelle and Sam. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Robert and Sylvia Horowitz, Syd and Evelyn Horowitz, Anna and the late Harold Horowitz, the late Al and the late Hilda Harvey. Sister-in-law of the late Gerson (Jack) and the late Rae Goodwin and the late Ann Goodwin, the late Anne and the late Reuben Neiman, the late Moe and the late Riva Guttman. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the 5th floor at Maimonides Hospital. Heartfelt thanks to Sarah's companions, Ling, Madge, Nunu and Lita for their care and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
