GOODWILL, Ethel (nee Greenspoon) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ethel Goodwill, in her ninety-first year, on March 30, 2010. Ethel Goodwill, beloved wife of the late Leon, precious mother and mother-in-law of Dan Goodwill and Gail Leder. Devoted sister and sister-in-law of the late Myra Greenspoon Sternberg and Murray Sternberg, sister and sister-in-law of the late Annie and Lupu Goldenberg, and sister and sister-in-law of the late George and Hannah Greenspoon. Sister-in-law of Mike and the late Judy Gutwillig, sister-in-law of Sidney and Susan Goodwill, sister-in-law of Rose Resiman Gross, the late Mark Reisman and the late Harold Gross. Special thanks to Lea and Feven for their compassionate care during the latter stages of Ethel's life. Ethel will be sadly missed by her friends and family for her kind and gentle nature, her courage, her positive attitude and for the love she gave to those around her. Services were held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Interment on Friday April 2, 2010 at the Baron De Hirsch Cemetery, 5015 de la Savane, Montreal, Quebec at 11:15 a.m. Shiva at the Social Room, 2 Covington Road, Toronto on Wednesday and Thursday April 7 and 8, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the International Pemphigus Foundation ( www.pemphigus.org/ ) in the United States or the Canadian Pemphigus and Pemphigoid Foundation in Canada ( www.pemphigus.ca/ ) |
