REINER, Paul (Pal). A beautiful human being. Unexpectedly and very suddenly on Monday, December 15, 2003 at the age of seventy-one. Paul was a mechanical engineer still actively working in his profession. He was much respected in both his profession and his community. Paul had a rainbow of interests from astronomy, current political affairs, and the sciences. He was very passionate about all kinds of sports. Paul also supported adults in a literacy program. Paul was married to Elaine Welik for thirty-seven years, and much beloved by her. Paul loved his three children: David, Nancy, and Karen and his new daughter-in-law Andrea. His life was a celebration of his wife and his children and he loved to laugh with them. Paul leaves to mourn his brother Imre and sister-in-law Vera, and his brother-in-law Leonard and sister-in-law Carole and their children Jeremy and Alexandra. He was pre-deceased by his parents Maria and Lajos, and his brother Leslie (Laci). Paul was the consummate "Mensch" who will be missed by his many friends. Our lives are forever changed for having known such a gentle, kind, and devoted man.
