Obituary Henia Ribovitch (nee Siennicka). A Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, on Monday, May 8, 2017, in her one hundred and first year. Wife of the late Henry. Adored mother and mother-in-law of David and Esther Ribovitch, Sydney and the late Rose Deskin. Cherished grandmother of Maraline Ribovitch, Jason Ribovitch and Sarah Di Stefano, Helen and Harry Krane, Barbara and Ben Daoust. Proud great-grandmother of Fiorella, and Nevio; Joshua; Maya, and Noah. Predeceased by her siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Henia will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of 6 South of Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Graveside service on Wednesday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m., at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at David's home, Wednesday following burial and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Donald Berman Maimonides Foundation, (514) 483-2121 ext.: 2207.
