COVET, Gertrude (nee Spector) On Wednesday, August 31, 2011, in her one-hundredth year. Wife of the late Hyman Covet. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Gloria Herman, Carole and the late Gerald Goldberg. Loving grandmother of Michael Herman, Dr. Neil and Susan Herman, Dr. Lloyd Herman; and Darren Goldberg. Great-grandmother of Matthew and Jeremy Herman; Jane and Valerie Herman. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Rose and the late Ben Browman, the late Beatrice and the late Morris Edgar, the late David Spector, and sister-in-law of the late Sam and the late Bertha Covet, the late Mildred Krindle. She will be sadly missed by Harvey Herman, and by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregiver, Maureen. She leaves with us a legacy of love and devotion, and will forever be in our hearts. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, September 4 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
