KARANOFSKY, Frances (nee Bellman) Peacefully, on Monday, December 26, 2016, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Saul. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Earl and Sary, Helen and Rick Zipes, and the late Gerald Karanofsky. Cherished grandmother of Mark Karanofsky and Jennifer Friedmann, Brian Karanofsky, and Robert Karanofsky and Kim Kaspy; Erin Zipes and Michael Baker, Kyle Zipes and Connie Sun. Proud great-grandmother of Samantha and Emily Karanofsky; Audrey and Griffin Baker; and Lilah Zipes. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Miriam and the late Manny Melamed. Sister-in-law of the late Ruth and the late Walter Chodos. Frances will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephew, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Tuesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
