Avraham Paisach Ben Moshe Chaim v'Esther Perl August 4, 1933 - June 3, 2018 Av 12, 5693 - 21 Sivan, 5778 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Arthur Peter Greenberg announces his passing, on Sunday, June 3, 2018, in his eighty-fifth year. Devoted and beloved husband of Ruthie, his sweetheart, life-partner, and best friend, for sixty-one years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Debbie, Danny and Caryl, Paul and Marla. Adored Zeida of Mira; Josh, Kira and Rachel; and Talia, Morris and Micah. Dear brother-in-law of Jerry and Katy Bernstein, and uncle of Jennifer and Yitz Gitelman, David, Yakira and Benjamin; Kevin Hickman; and Patrick Hickman and Isabella. Predeceased by his parents, Polly and Morris. Arthur will be very sadly missed by his extended family of cousins in Canada, the US and Israel; as well as long-time friends and colleagues. The family gives special thanks to Cora Velasco for her dedicated care; Stephen Pollock and Lorne Steinberg for their steadfast support; the Palliative Care team at Mount Sinai Hospital and the CLSC Rene-Cassin; and doctors Elliot Mitmaker and George Zogopoulos for their compassionate and attentive medical care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, June 6 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5950 Cavendish Blvd. #304, C.S.L., from 1:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
