HERSCOVITCH, Dora Peacefully, at the age of one hundred years, at Maimonides, on Saturday, August 21, 2010, our beloved Aunt Dora ("Auntie Do") passed away. Predeceased by her brothers and sister and their spouses, Sam (Hersh) and Estelle Herscovitch, Harry and Nancy Hersh, Ray and Johnny Miller, and nephews, Frank Miller and Darius Miller in Australia. Survived by her nieces and nephew, Helaine and Philip Cohen, Judith Sinclair, Marvin Hersh and the rest of her adoring family. Thank you to Trish Holmes, her devoted caregiver, and to all the staff of Maimonides who took such loving care of her. "Auntie Do" (Dora) is remembered as a wonderful aunt, sister, teacher at O'Sullivan Business College, and an office Manager at Jack Liebman Dresses. She made everyone who knew her laugh. She will be sadly missed. Graveside service on Monday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m., at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Arrangements entrusted to Paperman & Sons. |
