SPOON, Marilyn (nee Shendelman)
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Maxie Spoon. Cherished and loving mother and mother-in-law of Karen (Neil Goldman), Ina (Mark Golfman) and Rowen Spoon (Melanie Brook). Adored Bubby of Sabrina and Evan, Melissa, Eden, Brandon, Matthew, Daniel, Chad and Zachary. Sister-in-law of Bella Shendelman, Peter Freeman, and Rose Shendelman. Predeceased by her dear siblings and their spouses, Morris and Mildred Shendelman, Pearl and Bert Miller, Fanny and Solly Gevirtzman, Ben Shendelman, Sammy Shendelman, Goldie Freeman; and by her brothers- and sisters-in-law Bessie and Charlie Cherry, Harry, Alice and Issie Spoon. A very special aunt and friend. Sincere thanks to Tess and Germain, and to all the doctors, nurses and staff from Hematology-Oncology, Nephrology and 7NW at the Jewish General Hospital.
