September 6, 1925 -- July 24, 2016
Beloved husband of the late Lily Zweig. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Hayley Satens, Jay Satenstein and Tamara Wiseman. Proud Grandpa of Tyler. Son of the late Joseph and the late Hannah Satenstein. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Irving and the late 'Big Lil' Satenstein, the late Jack and the late Reb Satenstein, the late Betty and the late Willie Newman, the late Sol and the late Jane Satenstein, the late Archie, Mickey and the late Belle Kahn, the late Jean and the late Sol Barth, the late Elliot, the late Phil and the late Toby Satenstein. Brother-in-law of Frances and the late Hymie Zweig, Abie and the late Marilyn Zweig, Eva and the late Moishe Zweig, the late Esther and the late Issie Stein, the late Sollie and the late Hazel Zweig. He will be sadly missed by his adopted son, Bedros, and his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the wonderful nurses and doctors who took care of Leon. Special thanks to Nora Nunez, who was always there no matter what. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, July 26. Shiva at Hayley's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Friday afternoon.
