WENER, Shirley (nee Baserman)
Peacefully, in her eighty-eighth year, on Friday, May 13, 2016. Beloved wife of Hymie Wener for sixty-six years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Marlene and Joey Sadofsky, Joel, and Norman. Cherished Bubbie of Sari Sadofsky and Jonathan Ender, Mitchell and Angela Sadofsky, Evan and Stephanie Sadofsky; Marisa Wener and Scott MacIver, Joshua Wener and Jordana Zabitsky; Amy, and Joey Wener. Proud great-grandmother of Max and Ethan Ender; Archer MacIver; Avery Wener. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Miriam and Sam Smith, the late Harold and the late Gertie Baserman, the late Anita and the late Phil Goldman, and sister-in-law of the late Sam and the late Margaret Wener, the late Marty and the late Rae Wener. She will be sadly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Sandra Dial and the wonderful staff of ICU at the Jewish General Hospital.
