GREENSPOON, Henry It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Henry Greenspoon on Sunday, January 7, 2018, with great courage. Devoted husband of Shirley Greenspoon. Loving and cherished father and father-in-law of Jeffrey and Danielle Greenspoon, Mitchell and Jordana Greenspoon. Treasured Grandpa of Joshua and Sevi, Alec, Isabella, Andrew, Jonah and Alexandra Greenspoon, all of whom adored him greatly. Predeceased by his dear siblings, Helen Cygler (the late Marcel), Renya Zeligman (the late Felix), Fela Zolna (the late Joel) and Adam Greenspoon, all of whom survived the Holocaust with Henry. Cherished brother-in-law of Sonia Greenspoon and Roslyn Fox. Henry was a true lover of life who made an instant connection with the many people who gravitated to him and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the health professionals for the extraordinary care given to Henry over the past few years at the Jewish General Hospital, Montreal Heart Institute and Montreal General Hospital, especially Dr. Ruby Friedman for his dedication and compassion, as well as Henry's devoted team of caregivers. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday January 9 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
