HERF, Pearl (nee Severs). On February 4, 2004. In her seventy-seventh year, and after a lifetime of living the role she cherished, our mother (Audrey and Mitchell Herf), my wife (the late Isidore Herf), my grandmother (MIchael Abudarham), our sister (Sarah Bromberg, Mendel Severs, Marion Saltzman and the late Norman Severs) and our cherished friend and mother-in-law has moved on to a peaceful place. Already conspicuous with her absence is her disarming wit, simple smile and unwavering love for her family. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews who remember "Auntie Pearl" as their "Second Mother" when they were far from home. Service is from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, February 8 at 1:15 p.m. Burial at the congregation Adath Israel Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
